Ford Qualifying Results:
4th – Brad Keselowski
8th – Joey Logano
14th – Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
15th – Aric Almirola
25th – Greg Biffle
28th – Cole Whitt
29th – Sam Hornish Jr.
31st – Brett Moffitt
33rd – Trevor Bayne
34th – David Gilliland
43rd – Jeffrey Earnhardt

GREG BIFFLE – No. 16 Kleen Performance Products Ford Fusion — “We’re pretty disappointed with that. We qualified up front the last race here and this morning our car was really fast, but really tight from the center off of four. We’re great everywhere, but right there and that last lap I had to lift on the gas. I was gonna hit the wall coming off of four and that cost us that one position to get in. It looks like our teammates picked up speed. I think we have decent cars here for this weekend, but it will be a challenge coming from 25th.”

RICKY STENHOUSE JR. – No. 17 Ford EcoBoost Ford Fusion – “I’m real happy with the changes the guys made from practice to qualifying and really happy with the adjustments they made from the last time we qualified here. We knew that was a big focus for us this weekend was to start better and we’re starting way better than we did last time, so that’s a positive. The Ford EcoBoost Fusion felt pretty good in race trim today. We weren’t real, real fast on the short run, but maybe we learned something in qualifying that can make us better on the short run. We were really good in the race on the long run, so hopefully we can tie both of those together tomorrow and have another good race on Sunday.”

ARIC ALMIROLA – No. 43 Smithfield Ford Fusion – “We got in and then we got bumped out, but I’m still proud of our day. We unloaded and we were kind of scrambling there for a little bit, but Trent and the guys made some really good changes to the car from practice to qualifying and really improved it. I’m pretty happy with our lap there and we can go race from there. I think we’ve qualified between 25th and 30th the last few times, so it was nice to finally qualify a little bit better.”

JOEY LOGANO – No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion – “That’s not bad. We need a little bit more speed in our car right now, both in race trim and qualifying trim, but we still have a decent starting spot. We’re kind of where we need to be, so we’re not awful. We just have to run our race and do our thing here. We don’t need to get too spun out on anything. We’ll just plug away a little bit tomorrow and find a little bit more balance in our car and let her eat.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI – No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion – “I feel like we’re in a good spot. I just wish it was three spots higher, but it’s something to be proud of.” WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTING IN SUNDAY’S RACE? “Some guys have different agendas than others. For us, we just need to have a good, solid day. If we can win, that would be great. That’s what we want to do. That’s what we’re here to do, but a solid day would almost guarantee us advancing to the next round. The most important thing is to win Homestead and we want to be there when it counts.”
