TOYOTA QUOTES
ERIK JONES, No. 20 GameStop/Star Wars Battlefront Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 3rd
How was the race?

“It was solid and it was eventful at times, for sure the last 20 laps were pretty crazy with a lot of hard racing. Everybody just going for it, it’s the end of year and it’s the last race – we all want to win and go out of the season with a bang. I thought we had a shot at it for sure there when the 54 (Kyle Busch) got penalized. The GameStop Camry was good. We just got a little too snug at the end and just couldn’t quite hang with the 42 (Kyle Larson), he was the class of the field pretty much all day. I did all I could to hold him back and try to slow him down, but he wasn’t having any of it.”

DANIEL SUAREZ, No. 18 ARRIS Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 6th
How was the season overall and what does the Rookie of the Year title mean to you?

“It was a good 2015 – a lot of new things. A lot of learning processes and we learned a bunch of things. I’m happy with that and earning Rookie of the Year was one of the goals of 2015 and thanks to Joe Gibbs Racing, ARRIS, Toyota, Telcel, Juniper – we were able to make this happen. Very happy overall.”

How was the race?

“It was a decent race. We didn’t have the best car. We had a top-10, top-six car and that’s pretty much where we ended up. We made some mistakes during the race and we were able to come back. That was pretty good for us. Definitely we have to keep working to find a little more speed.”
