WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR ATLANTA MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Kyle Larson and No. 42 ENEOS Team

Daytona Recap: Kyle Larson wheeled the No. 42 ENEOS Chevy Camaro for the 120-lap race. On lap 13, he was caught in a seven-car incident heading into turn 3. The ENEOS Chevy sustained left-front fender damage and made several pit stops to make repairs to stay on the lead lap. After going back to green, the fender continued to rub on the tire causing the team to make additional pit stops under green flag conditions to make repairs, losing multiple laps in the process. Once final repairs were made, Larson brought the car home in 34th position.

Larson in XFINITY in Atlanta: Larson will make his fourth XFINITY Series start at AMS on Saturday. In three previous starts at the 1.5-mile speedway, Larson has two top-five and three top-10 finishes. He has an average starting position of 6.3 and average finishing position of sixth. His best start was second and his best result was third, both coming in August 2014.

No Limits, No Compromises, Pure Performance: ENEOS brand motor oil is developed to exceed the highest standards of the automotive industry. There are several locations around Atlanta Motor Speedway to pick up ENEOS brand motor oil with the closest location at the NAPA Auto Parts store at 11 Racetrack Road in McDonough, GA 30253.

Brennan Poole and No. 48 DC Solar Team

Daytona Recap: Brennan Poole wheeled the new No. 48 DC Solar Chevy Camaro for the 120-lap race. The young driver received slight right rear fender damage after being spun on the lap 13 accident that involved seven cars. After going back to green, Poole drove quickly into the top-five where he spent the majority of the day. With less than 40 laps to go, Poole reported battery issues and was forced to make an unscheduled stop to replace it, losing three laps in the process. Once returning to the track, Poole brought the car home in 27th place.

Poole’s Debut at AMS: Poole will make his AMS XFINITY Series debut on Saturday afternoon. Poole has seven career XFINITY Series starts on 1.5 mile tracks in his brief career, with a best career finish of ninth coming in March 2015.
