Armstrong at Auto Club Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his fourth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Auto Club Speedway.  Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 15th at the Fontana, California track.

Dakoda’s Thoughts on Auto Club Speedway:
“Auto Club Speedway is an awesome track. It is one of the oldest surfaces we race on so tire fall off is pretty big.  Once the tires fall off you move around a lot so it will be important for us to make sure our No. 28 Winfield Toyota will work on multiple lines around the track and have the best grip possible.”

“We have been battling some bad luck here the last few weeks and hopefully, we have that behind us.  The guys on this JGL Racing team continue to keep working hard and I am confident our luck will change.”

Phoenix Rewind:
With two consecutive weeks of bad luck in his rear view mirror, Dakoda Armstrong entered the second race of NASCAR’s West Coast swing looking for some positive momentum to the early part of the 2016 season. While the bad luck bug once again plagued Armstrong and his JGL Racing team, the 24-year old driver’s determination proved strong as he wheeled his No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota to a well-earned 18th-place finish in the running of the Axalta 200 at the Phoenix International Raceway.

The 18th-place finish would move Armstrong up two spots to the 13th position in the overall NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers’ standings – just seven points out of the top ten.
