Join Us After the Burnout Saturday Afternoon

Fans Invited to Enjoy NASCAR Driver & Celebrity Q&A Session on the Midway Immediately Following the NASCAR XFINITY Series Race on Saturday, April 23.

The checkered flag waves.  The crowd goes wild. The driver does a memorable frontstretch burnout, and when the smoke clears next Saturday after the NASCAR XFINITY Series race, a new celebration begins at Richmond International Raceway.

“After the Burnout” will take place in the Midway immediately following the ToyotaCare 250.  This free event is open to all ticket holders.

NASCAR celebrities Kenny Wallace and Larry McReynolds, along with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan and the newly crowned NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash4Cash winner will join in the fun with on-stage question and answer sessions.  MC Michael Blair and his DJ will be there blasting music and challenge fans to a game of “Simon Says.”

The Toyota Pit Pass will be open, along with the Fanatics display so fans can check out the latest Toyota vehicles and purchase their favorite driver’s merchandise.

The ToyotaCare 250 is the second installment of the NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash4Cash, and fans attending RIR next week will witness two heat races and a 140 lap main event.  Pre-race ceremonies start at Noon and Heat #1 rolls off at 12:30 p.m.

“With the switch to a day race, we’re looking for creative ways to engage our fans and give them more activities while they’re here,” explained Dennis Bickmeier RIR President.  “’After the Burnout’ is a great way to cap-off the day here at RIR, especially after fans have just witnessed the new Dash 4 Cash race format.  Instead of rushing home or back to their campers, fans can enjoy some music and see a few more drivers and NASCAR stars up close.  I’m looking forward to getting out to the stage and enjoying ‘After the Burnout’ with our fans too!”

Kids 12 and under are free on Saturday for the ToyotaCare 250 with a paid adult admission and parking is free.

Don’t have a ticket yet for Saturday’s ToyotaCare 250?  No problem!  Buy your tickets now by clicking here or by calling the RIR Ticket Office at 866-455-RACE (7223) and join us for “After the Burnout” on Saturday, April 23rd!
