Armstrong at Iowa Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his fifth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Iowa Speedway to go along with four prior starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and two in the ARCA Racing Series.

Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 16th at the Newton, Iowa track which occurred last season. His best overall finish was fourth in the 2010 ARCA event at Iowa Speedway.
Dakoda’s Thoughts on Iowa Speedway:
“Iowa is one of my favorite tracks. Over the years it has gotten pretty rough in turns 1 & 2 so getting your car to handle over the bumps is very important. It is a very fun track because its a mix between an intermediate and short track.”

“We are coming off a rough race in Michigan and all of us want to rebound with a solid performance this weekend in Iowa. It will be important to get our No. 28 Winfield dialed in during our practice sessions and get in a good qualifying effort on Saturday for the race on Sunday.”

Michigan Rewind:
Coming off a promising performance at Pocono, Dakoda Armstrong and his JGL Racing team had high hopes as they entered the NASCAR XFINITY Series event at Michigan International Speedway. Unfortunately, Armstrong struggled with the handling on his No. 28 Winfield Toyota on his way to a disappointing 24th-place finish in the running of the Menards 250 at the track located in the Irish Hills of Michigan.
2016 Stats:
Starts: 13
Avg. Starting Position: 22.1
Avg. Finishing Position: 21.9
Best Finish: 14th (Daytona & Richmond)
Points Standing: 16th
