Herring at Iowa Speedway:
Drew will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Iowa Speedway to go along with one previous start in the Camping World Truck Series. The event will mark his 18th career start in the series and third one this season after piloting the No. 24 Toyota to top-20 finishes at both Dover and Charlotte.

Drew has had much success at Iowa Speedway having earned two career Pole Awards and a best finish of sixth which came during the 2013 season at the Newton, Iowa track.

Drew’s Thoughts on Iowa Speedway:
“Really looking forward to getting back behind the wheel of the No. 24 Toyota for JGL Racing and working with Bones (crew chief Steven Lane) and the guys. We have made gains together each time we have been to the track and now we have an opportunity to run at a track I am very familiar with.”

“We get all of our practice time on Friday so hopefully we can maximize the practices to dial in our No. 24 Young Guns Toyota. The guys on this JGL Racing team have been working hard to continue to find more speed in the car and I am ready to hit the track and build on that. The goal is to have an issue free weekend and bring home the finish we know we are capable of.”

Young Guns Program:
Herring will once again showcase the JGL Racing Young Guns program on his No. 24 Toyota this week at Iowa Speedway. The program was designed by James Whitener, owner of JGL Racing, with the intent to showcase a group of rising stars in the NASCAR ranks.

The JGL Racing Young Guns program offers many marketing opportunities for corporations and drivers alike. The program has been deemed a success so far and will continue throughout the 2016 season with further sponsor and driver announcements in the near future.
