An Out of This World Experience with Jimmie Johnson and NASA

Special Family Ticket Package Offers Kids a Jimmie Johnson Q&A and NASA Activity

NASA is coming to RIR with Jimmie Johnson on board for a one-of-a-kind experience for kids. Parents can now purchase the Jimmie Johnson Ticket Package for the Federated Auto Parts 400 on Saturday, September 10th.

Jimmie Johnson will be joining RIR to say “thank you fans.” Drivers, teams, sponsors and NASCAR will also help recognize the pride and dedication of NASCAR Nation during the Inaugural Fan Appreciation Weekend. This weekend-long celebration is not just for adults, this package will allow kids to engage in all the praise that NASCAR fans deserve.

In this experience, kids will get the chance to participate in a hands-on NASA Rockets 2 Racecars STEM Education activity. Through this activity, kids will learn how the science of speed is used by both their favorite race team and the scientists behind space travel. While supplies last, youngsters will also receive a 12-page activity booklet.

The highlight of the day will be when six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Jimmie Johnson stops by for a 15-minute Q&A appearance. Kids will get to see a real life superman as he answers the questions they all want to know. Parents and kids will end the day with a ticket to the Federated Auto Parts 400, where they can see Jimmie go all out for the win.
