Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing Looks to Continue Running Strong at Dover

DEARBORN, Mich., September 28, 2016 – When Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team unload this weekend at Dover International Speedway, they will be out to improve on their eighth-place finish at the track in May and continue its string of strong performances.

The Wood Brothers’ famous No. 21 Fusion comes to the Citizen Soldiers 400 with two top-five and a pair of top-15 finishes in the last five races, proving it can run with the drivers involved in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

RYAN BLANEY DOVER FAST FACTS:

Started 18th and finished eighth at Dover in May.

Six total starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with three top-five finishes and a seventh.

WOOD BROTHERS DOVER FAST FACTS:

Wood Brothers Racing won the first three NASCAR races run at Dover with David Pearson behind the wheel in 1972 and 1973.

In 74 starts at Dover, the Wood Brothers have seven wins (five with David Pearson and two with Neil Bonnett) and four poles (all with Pearson).

Wood Brothers Racing
