Armstrong at Texas Motor Speedway:
Dakoda will be making his sixth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Texas Motor Speedway to go along with three previous starts in the Camping World Truck Series. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 10th at the Fort Worth, Texas track which occurred during the 2014 season.  He finished 26th in the Spring race earlier this season.

Dakoda’s Thoughts on Texas Motor Speedway:
“We are coming off a nice two week break in the schedule and I sure am ready to get back behind the wheel of our No. 28 WinField Toyota.  Texas is a fast race track with lots of tire wear.  We struggled there during the Spring race but our 1.5-mile program has come a long way since then.”

“We are focused on finishing these last three races of the season on a strong note.  The guys on this JGL Racing team have been working hard during this two week break and all of us are looking for some strong runs to finish the season.”

Kansas Rewind:
As the NASCAR Xfinity Series winds towards the end of the 2016 season, Dakoda Armstrong remains focused on finishing out the campaign in a strong way.  The New Castle, Indiana native battled a loose handling No. 28 WinField Toyota on his way to a 20th place finish in the running of the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway on Saturday.

2016 Stats:
Starts:   30
Avg. Starting Position:   21.0
Avg. Finishing Position: 19.2
Best Finish:   5th (Iowa – July)
Points Standing:   13th
