ARIZONA LOTTERY NAMED OFFICIAL LOTTERY PARTNER OF PHOENIX RACEWAY

PHOENIX – Phoenix Raceway President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that the Arizona Lottery has been named the track’s official lottery partner ahead of the upcoming Can-Am 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Race fans attending the upcoming Can-Am 500 weekend at Phoenix Raceway will have the opportunity to stop by the Arizona Lottery ticket trolley on the Fan Midway to purchase lottery tickets from Nov. 11-13.

“We are so excited to be bringing the Arizona Lottery Ticket Trolley to be a part of the Can-Am 500 weekend at PIR,” said Gregg Edgar, executive director of the Arizona Lottery. “Race weekends are always a great time at PIR and we love the opportunity to continue our long standing partnership.”

As the semifinal race in the Chase for the top-three series in NASCAR, Phoenix Raceway is set to become an even more dramatic destination in this year’s NASCAR season, as the Chase format was extended to both the NASCAR XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series. For the first time ever, each race during the Can-Am 500 weekend will determine the final four contenders that will advance to compete for each series’ title – “the Phoenix 4.”

Tickets for the upcoming Can-Am 500 NASCAR race weekend start at just $35. Individual tickets and season tickets are available online at PhoenixRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the PIR ticket office.

About Phoenix International Raceway:

The schedule is anchored by the upcoming Can-Am 500 race weekend on Nov. 11-13, the semifinal race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup after which the field will be reduced to the final four championship contenders.
