ADVANCE NOTES

Stenhouse Jr. on racing at the ROVAL

“There are definitely a lot of unknowns heading into this weekend since this is the first time we have ever raced this configuration at Charlotte. We tested the new course back in July, and we learned some things. We saw a lot of cars spin as well, it’s so easy to step over that fine line and get in trouble. I think it’s going to be a wild race for the fans. I think it is going to come down to being there at the end. When we start on Sunday, it will be the first time all 40 cars are on the track at once so it will definitely be exciting.”

Last weekend at Richmond

With the race going green for a majority of Saturday night’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race at Richmond Raceway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. drove his Fastenal Ford to a 13th-place finish.

Last time at Charlotte

At the same track that he made his first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start at in 2011, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. overcame adversity to score a career best 10th-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

On the Car

Iconic brand and thirst quenching favorite SunnyD will return to the No. 17 this weekend as the primary partner on the No. 17 Ford Fusion.
