FORT WORTH, Texas (November 1, 2018) – Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers Kyle Busch and Ty Dillon will join Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage for Friday’s grand opening festivities of the new 7-Eleven® convenience store on the Texas Motor Speedway grounds during the AAA Texas 500 NASCAR tripleheader weekend.

The world’s largest convenience retailer opened its first location at a professional sports venue on Oct. 27. The 5,000-square-foot store is located on the Lone Star Circle inner ring road outside of the infield’s North Tunnel exit. Tram service is being offered to and from the store and will give customers access to all other tram stops located throughout the Texas Motor Speedway property.

The store will carry 7-Eleven fan favorites, such as Big Gulp® and Slurpee® drinks, coffee, 7-Select® private brand products and other popular items. The 7-Eleven store will operate 24 hours a day during the race week, which began Saturday, Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. and will end Monday at 4 p.m. 7-Eleven is the “Official Convenience Store” of Texas Motor Speedway. Grand opening activities will begin Friday and will include exciting opportunities for fans such as autograph signing sessions and free Slurpee drinks.

Busch, the 2015 series champion and current Round of 8 playoff contender, will host an hour-long autograph signing session from 3-4 p.m. at the store. His car sponsor, M&M’s, will have the No. 18 show car on display as well as a race simulator on hand for fans from 12-6 p.m. Dillon will be autographing 24-ounce cans of Twisted Tea stocked in the store as a bonus to fans purchasing the product.

7-Eleven and Texas Motor Speedway officials will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. The celebration will culminate with Eddie Gossage serving one small free Slurpee drink per customer from 4-6 p.m.

The AAA Texas 500 NASCAR weekend features the Camping World Truck Series JAG Metals 350 on Friday night (7:30 p.m.), Xfinity Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 on Saturday (3:30 p.m.) and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series AAA Texas 500 on Sunday (2 p.m.).
