Quote:

“I love Texas. I love the track, the food and the state. I’m looking forward to running this weekend at Texas. We’ve been making gains with our intermediate track program with every race and we had our strongest finish of the season in Vegas a few weeks ago. We continue to find more speed each week and the No. 2 guys have been giving me a strong truck, so it will be fun to go out and there and put it to the test.”

Brett Moffitt, No. 24 Allegiant Chevrolet Silverado

Texas NGOTS Stats
– Starts: 2, Top 5: 1, Top 10: 1
– Best start: 4th (October 2018)
– Best Finish: 3rd (October 2018)

2019 NGOTS Stats

– Starts: 4, Best start: 2, Best finish: 2, Top 5: 3, Top 10: 3, Laps Led: 7

Notes:

– Brett Moffitt has collected three consecutive top-five finishes

– The No. 24 team will utilize chassis No. 306. This is the same truck Moffitt competed with in Las Vegas where he qualified and finished second. This truck last won in Texas in June 2018. The chassis was raced four times in the 2018 season, qualified inside the top 10 in every race including a pole in Texas in November.

– Moffitt has started inside the top 10 in every event in the 2019 season.

Quote:

“We’ve had some strong runs on the intermediate tracks so far this year and I’m looking to continue that this weekend in Texas. We loaded up the same truck we had in Vegas and I feel like that was our strongest run overall so hopefully we can go out there and finish it. The team has given me some really fast trucks and we’ve put together some solid finishes. We’ve had a truck good enough to get to victory lane, it just hasn’t played out. I’m looking to go out there and change that this week.”
