Josh Berry and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Mustang Dark Horse will put the finishing touches on their first season together this weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series heads west to Phoenix Raceway for the 2025 season finale.
Berry and the Wood Brothers Racing team have enjoyed a productive year highlighted by a breakthrough victory at Las Vegas that secured a Playoff berth, a runner-up finish at New Hampshire, and a fourth-place run at Phoenix back in March. The team enters the finale with seven top-10 finishes and continued progress throughout the year.
Qualifying performance has also been a bright spot for the No. 21 group, which has earned outside poles at Homestead and Atlanta, plus third-place starts at Atlanta, Darlington and New Hampshire, along with a fourth-place start earlier this season at Phoenix.
Crew chief Miles Stanley said the team is eager to finish the season on a high note.
“We had a really strong run at Phoenix earlier this year, so we’re looking to build on that and close out the season on a high note,” Stanley said. “It’s been a lot of fun working with Josh this year and seeing how far we’ve come as a team. We’ve learned a lot, built a great foundation together, and I think that’s going to pay dividends as we head into next season ready to hit the ground running.”
On-track activity begins Friday with practice at 5:35 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. Both sessions will air on truTV.
Sunday’s 312-lap, 312-mile Cup Series Championship is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET on NBC, with Stage breaks at Laps 60 and 185.
