ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Kansas Speedway

Bubba Wallace makes his first NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Kansas Speedway on Saturday.  Wallace currently rides a streak of eight consecutive top-10 finishes at 1.5-mile tracks, dating back to Las Vegas in March.

Wallace has two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Kansas Speedway in 2013 and 2014, with finishes of seventh and 15th, respectively.  In those two starts, Wallace led eight laps.

On the Car

The No. 6 Mustang carries the Ford EcoBoost colors this weekend at Kansas Speedway.  Ford EcoBoost technology combines smaller overall size with turbocharging, direct injection and variable valve timing to bring customers outstanding performance and fuel economy.

Recapping Charlotte Motor Speedway

Wallace utilized a three-wide move on a late-race restart to record an eighth-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Mustang.

QUOTE WORTHY

Bubba Wallace on racing at Kansas Speedway:

“I’m looking forward to getting on track in Kansas this weekend.  Roush Fenway has given me really great cars on the 1.5-mile tracks so far this season, so I feel like we will have a Ford EcoBoost Mustang that can race up front.  I will have to use our two practice sessions to get acclimated to the XFINITY car at this track, but it will be a fun challenge.”
