Stenhouse knows how to get to victory lane at Kansas. In 2012, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. overcame being two laps down with less than a 100 laps remaining to persevere to claim his sixth win of the 2012 NASCAR XFINITY season at Kansas Speedway.

Stenhouse Jr. is seven points out of 25th in the NSCS point standings.

Last time at Kansas

After battling back from one lap down, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was running in the top-20 before making contact with the outside wall with 12 laps remaining forcing Stenhouse to settle for a 24th-place finish in Saturday night’s race at Kansas Speedway.

On the Car

Fastenal is currently in its fourth season as a primary partner in the NSCS for Roush Fenway. They spent three years on the No. 99 before jumping over to the No. 17 entry, and were the primary partner on the No. 60 XFINITY team that captured the owner’s championship in 2011

Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Kansas:

“Our 1.5-mile program has definitely improved the last few weeks so I’m looking forward to Kansas. Kansas is a fast, smooth track which I really enjoy. We had a solid run at Charlotte last weekend so I feel confident going into this weekend. We’ve had five straight top-20 finishes so hopefully we can keep that streak going this weekend at Kansas.”

Nick Sandler on racing at Kansas:

“We’ve definitely seen improvements in our 1.5-mile track program lately so I think we are all looking forward to Kansas this weekend. Our main goal lately is to just be consistent which we have done the past couple of weekends. I’m confident we can get another solid finish in our Fastenal Ford this weekend.”
