Holiday Gifts Charlotte Motor Speedway is known for some of the best racing action around, so what better gift to give than the gift of speed from the legendary superspeedway. Now through Dec. 24, fans can purchase $99 in tickets and receive a free $25 gift card, good towards a future purchase of tickets, camping or pit passes. Additionally, the speedway is offering $25 and $50 gift cards as the perfect stocking stuffers, also good toward the purchase of tickets, camping or pit passes. Finally, fans who purchase $199 in tickets to the Bank of America 500, O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Nationals, NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, the NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star race, or the Coca-Cola 600 will be automatically entered to win a 2011 Toyota Tundra with tow package and X-SP Tundra options in the speedway’s Race to the Outdoors promotion. Other prizes include NASCAR Edition FethaStyx fishing rods, Nikon Monarch rifle scopes (10×42) and Charlotte Motor Speedway camouflage caps.

Souvenir and Race Ticket Blow-Out For friends and family who may need an updated NASCAR wardrobe for the new year, a stop at the speedway’s annual Souvenir and Race Ticket Blow-Out on the day after Thanksgiving is a perfect way to find a gift for any race fan. From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 25 in the speedway’s gift shop and near the main entrance, Charlotte Motor Speedway will offer a full line of NASCAR memorabilia and apparel at reduced prices with many items selling for only $1. A wide variety of hats and t-shirts will be available starting at just $3. In addition, 15 NASCAR souvenir rigs are expected to be on hand, offering driver and team merchandise at drastically reduced prices. As an added bonus, shoppers who spend $50 or more on merchandise or race tickets, or donate $25 to Speedway Children’s Charities, will be allowed to drive their personal vehicle for three laps around the legendary 1.5-mile superspeedway.

Carolina Christmas Have holiday guests visiting from out of town? Treat them to a ride through Carolina Christmas, the spectacular, nearly five-mile drive-through Christmas light park and village.
