Dave Blaney will attempt to qualify the No. 35 Golden Corral Chevrolet for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) season finale Ford 400. This will mark Tommy Baldwin Racing’s (TBR) third start at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS).
CHASSIS NO. 297 – TBR debuted chassis No. 297 with Blaney at Texas Motor Speedway. Blaney made the show and will look to repeat his success at HMS this weekend. TBR purchased the chassis from Richard Childress Racing this season. Paul Menard drove the chassis prior to TBR.
NASCAR UNLEASHED – Blaney’s son Ryan will compete in “Battle of the NASCAR Kids.” The “Battle of the NASCAR Kids” competition will take place at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, November 19 at the GameStop videogame truck outside of Gate 2 in the Outer Display Area of HMS, with public gameplay sessions and practice rounds scheduled for November 17-18 at the Championship Drive event in Miami Beach.Two fans will be chosen to compete against Blaney and other NASCAR kids. The winner of the event will get $5,000 to give to their charity of choice. Blaney’s charity of choice is the Alzheimer’s Association. Kobalt Tools 500 | Phoenix International Raceway: Blaney qualified for the Kobalt Tools 500 and started 43rd. He struggled with the handling of the No. 35 Golden Corral Chevrolet as the team worked to fix the condition. He finished 27th, three laps down.

Two Chances for Kids to Eat Free:
Bodine will join Blaney in his season-long effort to tally top-10 finishes. If either driver finishes in the top-10 this weekend in Miami, kids eat free (with an adult purchase) on Monday, November 21st. Golden Corral will also donate $5,000 to the DAV.

Qualify for the Show | The No. 35 Golden Corral Chevrolet will have to qualify for the Ford 400. There are 48 entries for the event. Blaney will compete against Trevor Bayne, Mike Bliss, Grant Enfinger, Michael McDowell, Joe Nemechek, Scott Riggs, Mike Skinner, Reed Sorenson, Scott Speed, David Stremme, Cole Witt and J.J. Yeley for the eight available starting positions.
