Ramey Motors to Sponsor Cobb at Bristol in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Princeton, WV ( August 20th, 2012) – Ramey Motors, Inc. is pleased to announce a partnership with Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing (JJCR), in conjunction with Network West Virginia for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the famous Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday, August 22, 2012.

Cobb will appear at both Ramey Chevrolet (1-2:30pm) and Ramey Ford (3-4:30pm) Thursday, August 23.

Cobb will sign collector autograph cards and fans will enjoy giveaways courtesy of Network West Virginia and Ramey Motors, at both events this Thursday. The #10 Ramey Motors entry will mark Cobb’s 51st start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Her highest finish in the series is a historic sixth place at Daytona International Speedway. Cobb will also appear in commercials for the West Virginia dealerships on Network West Virginia.

Ramey Motors has a rich history in West Virginia. The 55-year old business has eight new car locations, 13 franchises and three used car only locations in three states, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee. “We do the deal,” is not only their slogan, but a promise to do everything possible to do right by every customer.

“We have done a lot of business in West Virginia since forming a partnership with Network West Virginia in 2011,” said driver and team owner, Cobb. “Growing our fan base in that community not only helps our team but it is extremely rewarding as I learn more about the treasures the area has to offer. A partnership with Ramey Motors is actually quite an honor given their rich history and the success they have achieved.”

Network West Virginia has been a supporter of Cobb’s not-for-profit organization, Driven2Honor, which honors female members of the military at each NASCAR truck race throughout the year. The U.S. Army veteran who appears in the Driven2Honor Public Service Announcement with Cobb, Kristy Champion, will be in attendance at the Bristol night race.

“Jennifer’s team and Network West Virginia offered our dealerships a tremendous value to be able to be on the side of one of her trucks at what we feel is the most exciting race of the year, the Bristol night race,” said Tammie Lucas, Marketing Director of Ramey Motors, Inc. “We are thrilled to join the NASCAR community and to support Jennifer’s team and Driven2Honor.”
