RHODES SET FOR PHOENIX

AVONDALE, Ariz. – Having climbed to 29th in Xfinity Series points after a difficult start to the season at Daytona International Speedway, Harrison Rhodes is ready to race at Phoenix International Raceway Saturday.

Rhodes will drive the No. 0 Chevrolet for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in the Axalta Faster Tougher Brighter 200.

The race will be Rhodes’ second Xfinity run at Phoenix.

“We had a decent run (26th) last week at Las Vegas, and we’re looking for more this week,” Rhodes said. “I have some laps at Phoenix, so that will help. It should put us in good shape and give us a shot at getting hooked up for the race.”

Practice is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. (ET) at PIR Friday. Qualifying is scheduled at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 4 p.m.
