·  Matt Kenseth (seventh) was the top-finishing Camry driver in Sunday’s Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Virginia’s Richmond International Raceway.

·  Camry driver Clint Bowyer (ninth) also tallied a top-10 result on the 0.75-mile track in an event that was moved from Saturday to Sunday due to inclement weather.

·  Five Camry drivers are currently in the top-20 in the unofficial NSCS point standings – Kenseth (seventh), Denny Hamlin (12th), Bowyer (14th), Carl Edwards (17th) and David Ragan (19th).

MATT KENSETH, No. 20 Dollar General Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position:  7th
How was today’s race?

“It was better for some than others. For us overall, it was pretty good. We had some runs that were really, really good, some runs were off. Didn’t have the best restart positioning there at the end and got what we could out of it.”

CLINT BOWYER, No. 15 AAA Insurance Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position:  9th
How did you perform today?

“It was okay. We clearly need to be better. Hell, after the start of the season we’ve had, it’s starting to feel like a little bit of momentum and we’ve just got to keep digging.”

What did you discuss with Martin Truex Jr. after the race?

“It was kind of tit for tat really. We were racing hard there with 20 to go and he comes from the outside and crosses over and he kind of dive bombed me last minute. It really kind of scared me, so I gave him the spot and then fast forward one lap, exactly the same move back and he turned back down and I was already there and I got into him a little bit. It is what it is.”

CARL EDWARDS, No. 19 ARRIS Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position:  19th

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position:  22nd

DAVE ROGERS, crew chief, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Did you think you were a contender entering today’s Toyota Owners 400?

“Yeah, we were pretty happy with our FedEx Toyota Camry two days ago – not so much today. Just we missed it. Made a few adjustments this morning or yesterday morning and obviously went the wrong way. Just got the car way too tight in the center, had to knock out too much speed to get it to change directions and then couldn’t leave the corner either, so we went the wrong way there. We had a good car a couple days ago, but not so good today.”

DAVID RAGAN, No. 18 M&M’s Crispy Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position:  23rd
How was your race?

“I felt like we were pretty solid on Friday and obviously a lot has changed since Friday – track conditions and weather – but when they dropped the green flag we just weren’t as good. I was a little suspect that we could have had a bad set of tires to get going, but it wasn’t. Adam Stevens (crew chief) and our M&M’s Crispy Toyota team, they threw a lot of stuff at it all day and we did make it better, but when you start that far off a 400-lap race goes by really fast and I felt like if we could have started where we ended we would have been a little better. At the end of the day, we just didn’t start that good and we really worked hard at it. Yeah, disappointed at one of the 18’s best tracks and one of my favorite tracks. That was a disappointing day to get. Hopefully, we learn from it and these guys can be a little better here in September.”

BRETT MOFFITT, No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position:  29th

MATT DIBENEDETTO, No. 83 Dan Blizerian Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Finishing Position:  37ty

JEB BURTON, No. 23 MaximFantasySports.com Toyota Camry, BK Racing
Finishing Position:  38th
