Ty Dillon avoided catastrophe in the final laps of Duel No. 2 Thursday night at Daytona International Speedway and drove the No. 95 Cheerios/Kroger Chevrolet SS to a fifth-place finish. Dillon was racing outside the top ten when the "big one" happened, but he dove low on the race track and missed having his car damaged. The fifth place finish qualified Dillon 12th for the 58th running of the Daytona 500 this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
