Jeff Green Joins Rick Ware Racing For Daytona

Rick Ware Racing (RWR) announced today the signing of 2000 +NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) champion Jeff Green to drive the No. 17 Chevrolet Camaro in the PowerShares® QQQ 300 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

Ty Dillon avoided catastrophe in the final laps of Duel No. 2 Thursday night at Daytona International Speedway and drove the No. 95 Cheerios/Kroger Chevrolet SS to a fifth-place finish. Dillon was racing outside the top ten when the "big one" happened, but he dove low on the race track and missed having his car damaged. The fifth place finish qualified Dillon 12th for the 58th running of the Daytona 500 this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Greg Biffle and his Roush Fenway teammates started at the rear of the field for the first of two 60-lap Duel’s to set the field for the Daytona 500 due to changing a rear gear after qualifying. The trio worked together to keep up with the draft throughout the race. In the end, Biffle crossed the finish line eighth with an intact Daytona 500 KFC Nashville Hot Ford. The eighth-place finish lines Biffle up 15th for the Daytona 500.

Stenhouse Lines Up 19th for Daytona 500 After a 10th- Place Finish in the Duels

After leading the Roush Fenway Racing qualifying efforts on Sunday by posting the fifth overall fastest time, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. had to drop to the rear of the field due to gear change after Wednesday’s practice. After restarting 16th with 12 laps remaining in the 60 lap race, Stenhouse Jr. teamed up with teammate Greg Biffle and took the checkered flag in the 10th position of the first of two Can-Am Duels at Daytona International Speedway.
