Greg Biffle and the No. 16 team will be without crew chief Brian Pattie for the next two races after a NASCAR suspension handed down earlier in the week. The first of the two races is this weekend at Pocono Raceway where Biffle took time after the rain-shortened opening practice to discuss the implications and the state of the Roush Fenway Racing program heading into the summer slate.

Charlie Shaver, Chairman & CEO of Axalta Coating Systems, will serve as Grand Marshal for the Axalta “We Paint Winners” 400 at Pocono Raceway Sunday, June 5. Shaver, his daughter Caroline and Axalta Coating Systems Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Joe McDougall, as well as his daughter Julia, will give the “start your engines” command.

“It’s just like every track,” Allmendinger said. “If you get your car right, it’s a fun place. If you get your car wrong, it’s a tough place. It’s definitely a place that the tagline 'Tricky Triangle' is not a lie. It’s three tough corners. Most of the time, you are not right in all three corners so you’ve got to be really good in two of the three and okay in the other.”

JTG Daugherty Racing always looks for ways to give back to the community. In recent months, team owners Jodi & Tad Geschickter and their racing organization launched 47 Wishes, which empowers the No. 47 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race team to bring forth ideas to assist individuals or families in the community. 47 Wishes can range from something small to something big.

“I think it’s a no-brainer to help celebrate Shell’s 20th anniversary of NASCAR involvement and run this cool paint scheme at Darlington on Labor Day,” said Logano. “It’s pretty neat that Shell is celebrating 20 years in NASCAR and even cooler that Bobby (Labonte) won at Darlington Raceway with this car, so it’s a huge honor for myself and everyone at Team Penske to run this look.

“We have had a lot of speed this season and we have been able to turn that speed into some really solid runs. Although we had some bad luck at Kansas and Charlotte I’d say that we are really stepping our game up overall as we head into the summer months of the season.”

Roush Fenway Racing heads back to Long Pond, Penn. as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) prepares to tackle the challenging Pocono Raceway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit victory lane on four separate occasions.

While the NASCAR XFINITY Series will be making its first visit to Pocono Raceway, Dakoda will be making his sixth career start at the track known as the "Tricky Triangle". Armstrong has two previous starts at the track in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series to go along with three previous starts in the ARCA Racing Series.

Ryan Preece faces another new frontier this weekend as the Xfinity Series races at Pocono Raceway in Saturday’s Pocono Green 250. Fortunately for Preece, much of the rest of the field also will see “new” at Pocono. The Xfinity Series is racing at the difficult triangular track for the first time.

Although Saturday’s Pocono Green 250 will be the first Xfinity Series race at the triangular track, Ross Chastain is no stranger there. Chastain has driven in two Camping World Truck Series races at Pocono – and done well in each. In 2012, he finished 10th, then followed that run with a fifth-place finish in 2013.
