July 8, 2015 Following a two-week break in the schedule, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will return to competition for a midweek affair at the Kentucky Speedway. Korbin Forrister and the SS Green Light Racing have used the extra time away from the track to get the No. 08 Tilted Kilt Pub and Eatery Chevrolet Silverado ready for Thursday night’s UNOH 255.
There have been eight different winners in 11 Verizon IndyCar Series races in 2015: Juan Pablo Montoya (Streets of St. Petersburg and Indianapolis 500), James Hinchcliffe (NOLA Motorsports Park), Scott Dixon (Streets of Long Beach and Texas Motor Speedway), Josef Newgarden (Barber Motorsports Park and Streets of Toronto), Will Power (Grand Prix of Indianapolis), Carlos Munoz (Raceway at Belle Isle-1), Sebastien Bourdais (Raceway at Belle Isle-2) and Graham Rahal (Auto Club Speedway).
The ABC Supply Wisconsin 250 will mark the 21st event for RLL at the legendary Milwaukee Mile oval. The team WON here twice (Kenny Brack 2001 & Michel Jourdain Jr. 2003), started from POLE three times (Bobby Rahal 1992, Kenny Brack 2001, Vitor Meira 2004), made four FRONT ROW STARTS (2nd – Jourdain Jr. 2003) and earned FOUR PODIUMS (2nd: Rahal 2004, Rice 2004).
Jostens Rookie of the Year candidate Erica Thiering will put her home track advantage to work Saturday in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1’s Alberta Has Energy 300 at Edmonton International Raceway.

Throughout the season the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series visits 23 different racing venues. Of those 23 tracks, Team Chevy has notched more wins than any other manufacturer at all but five (Homestead-Miami Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Michigan International Speedway and Texas Motor Speedway). There is only one facility on the current schedule where the Chevrolet brand has never been to Victory Lane – Kentucky Speedway.
Kentucky Up Next...The 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway is the next stop on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series circuit. Michael Annett will wheel his No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevrolet this weekend, returning to a facility that provided him with a top-20 finish last season.
The driver of the No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine joins the rest of the NASCAR Sprint Cup field at Kentucky Speedway on Wednesday to test new rules designed to create less downforce and help produce more side-by-side competition. After an off day on Thursday, preparations for Saturday night’s race at the Sparta, Ky. track begin on Friday.
A late-race wreck in last weekend's Coke Zero 400 put Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Smithfield Ford team back in points. They now have a 24 point deficit to making The Chase. Knowing consistency is what got them this far this season, Almirola will look to get a Top-10 finish at Kentucky Speedway and try to work his way back into The Chase. Of course, a win would solve that problem, too, but the No. 43 team won't take any big risks to make that happen yet.
