ADVANCE NOTES

Buescher at Bristol Motor Speedway

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher makes his fifth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday.  In his four previous starts, Buescher’s best starting spot is 11th (2013) and his best finish is third (2015).  In his four starts at the .53-mile track, the sophomore in the NASCAR XFINITY Series has completed all but two laps.

On the Car

The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Roush Performance colors this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Roush Performance Parts is a premier supplier and engineering services provider, most known for its line of high performance Mustang powertrain parts, including superchargers, cold air intakes and exhaust kits.  The list goes on to include a full line of wheels, tires, interior, grilles, graphics, service parts, accessories, drivetrain, cooling upgrades and more.  In addition to Mustang, Roush Performance Parts also offers performance upgrade packages for Ford F-150, Superduty and Focus.

In addition, the No. 60 Roush Performance Mustang will carry the Tindol Ford colors on the hood this Friday.  Tindol earned the spot by selling the most Roush Mustangs during the month of July.

Recapping Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

For the second consecutive weekend, Buescher earned a top-five finish at a road course.  Buescher qualified his No. 60 Zest Mustang in second, and ran inside the top-five for most of Saturday afternoon’s 75-Lap NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, ultimately crossing the finish line in fourth.

QUOTE WORTHY

Chris Buescher on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway

“It has been a good month for us so far and Bristol should be another great track for us.  I always like going back to Bristol, especially knowing how fast we were in the spring.  I feel like this is a good weekend to go get our third win with Roush Performance on our Mustang.”
