Brandon McReynolds passed Matt Lofton on the final lap at Talladega Superspeedway this evening to win the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250, his first ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards win in seven career starts.

Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Fastenal Ford Fusion, met with media members at Talladega Superspeedway after the first practice session Friday afternoon. Edwards talked about the weekend ahead and other topics.

"Well, it's kind of like an off weekend for the teams, really. There's not a whole lot of adjusting you have. It's whatever you show up with is pretty much what you are going to race with."

For the seventh consecutive year, Prairie Meadows will continue as entitlement sponsor for the July 13 ARCA race. Prairie Meadows has been the sponsor of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) since it has been coming to Iowa Speedway during its first year of operation in 2006.

With only one practice session to consider when choosing a contender in a previously rainy week at Talladega Superspeedway, Alex Bowman seems a favorite for today’s International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250.
