He did that by winning in a dominant way and continued his string of top finishes at this .4 mile flat oval. In six starts at Autodrome St. Eustache, Steckly has not finished outside the top four, with four wins, a second and a fourth place finish.
Eric McClure faced an uphill battle in Saturday's Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It started when the team discovered a broken right-front hub following time trials Saturday afternoon that made them forfeit their 28th starting spot and ended with a power steering pump failure during the 100-lap race that relegated the team to a 36th-place finish. Despite the finish, McClure was able to maintain the 19th position in NASCAR Driver Standings.
