No. 20 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Team Penalized For Rules Infraction At Chicagoland Speedway

The No. 20 team that competes in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has been penalized for a rules infraction that occurred during post-race inspection Sept. 13 at Chicagoland Speedway.

Hamlin finished sixth, Busch was seventh and led 46 laps (of 267) during the race while Kenseth crossed the finish line 10th at the 1.5-mile oval. Each Toyota Chase driver ranks in those respective positions in the current point standings going into the second race of the championship playoff this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

At the start of 2014, Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced a three-year extension and investment increase by Smithfield Foods on the No. 43 Ford team. The previous year RPM welcomed new partners Strike 10 Entertainment and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to join Smithfield Foods, U.S. Air Force and longtime partner STP. The result was the RPM No. 43 team winning for the first time since 1999 and sending Aric Almirola into The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

The No. 16 Ford didn’t have the turn Biffle needed early on in the race, but the team never gave up, making the necessary adjustments to leave Loudon with a top-15 finish.

Blake Koch will be back behind the wheel of the No. 44 Centershot Camry this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. With five previous starts at the 1.5-Mile Tri-Oval, Koch is eager to aim for success on familiar ground. Koch has an average starting and finishing position of 31.0 and has turned over 420 laps in the Bluegrass State. During the spring outing, Koch brought home a 19th place finish.
