With the call of the night, crew chief Jimmy Elledge kept Justin Allgaier out on the track under a long, green-flag run in the waning laps of the 195-lap race. A timely caution allowed Allgaier to come to the attention of his team for new tires and fuel. He went on to score a fifth-place finish, his sixth top-five of the season.
