Roush Fenway Racing returns to the land of the Catalina Wine Mixer this weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) heads to Sonoma Raceway, a track that has seen a Roush Fenway Ford visit Victory Lane on three separate occasions across NASCAR’s major touring series.

As the sun sets on Jeff Gordon’s historic racing career, fans at Martinsville Speedway will have the opportunity to see the NASCAR legend up-close and personal before the start of the Goody’s® Headache Relief Shot® 500 on Nov. 1.

A native of Elk Grove, Calif., Larson will be making his second NSCS start at Sonoma this weekend, and only his third NSCS start on a road course. While this is only Larson’s second trip to Sonoma as a driver, he and his family attended races at Sears Point back when he was a kid.

Ernest Pierce, a crew member in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body’s Substance Abuse Policy.

Sonoma Raceway: “I really love Sonoma Raceway,” Allmendinger said. “It’s just such a beautiful racetrack. It’s such a cool trophy. Hopefully, it’s ours this year.”

SEASON-TO-DATE: After the first 15 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races this season, Kasey Kahne currently ranks fourth in laps in the top 15 (3,752), fourth in fastest speed in traffic (8.400 average rank), fifth in average running position (11.418) and fifth in fastest drivers late in a run (7.846 average rank).
