Statement from Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage on the announcement that 2015 will be Jeff Gordon's last season as a full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver.

Jeff Gordon, the celebrated stock car champion whose crossover appeal helped take NASCAR into the mainstream, will compete in his 23rd and final full-time Sprint Cup Series season in 2015. He announced his decision this morning to the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports team he has driven for since November 1992.

Veteran NASCAR driver, Ron Hornaday, will be the primary driver of the No. 30 TMG Chevrolet for the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, starting at Daytona International Speedway.

Doctors have medically cleared Brian Vickers to return to full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup racing in early March, three months after corrective heart surgery.

Coming off of a pair of XFINITY Series Championship, there was a lot of positive momentum around Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and everybody was expecting stellar results. That momentum has since faded, though, as a lot of people are asking the question - where are those results?

The last time Dale Earnhardt Jr. visited Martinsville Speedway he found himself in Victory Lane, taking home his first grandfather clock trophy.

Wood Brothers Racing has become something of a common face in NASCAR. Their consistent attendance year in and year out has possibly gone unnoticed to some, so one member of the family has set out to make sure the team’s founding fathers get the recognition they finally deserve for their unwavering show of perseverance.

Recently, a story by Chad Robb listed the top ten organizations in Cup. Not surprisingly, those ten organizations represented all but one of last season’s top 28 teams. Hendrick, Penske, Gibbs, Stewart-Haas, Ganassi, Childress, Roush-Fenway, Waltrip, and Petty were all there.
