It has been another successful year for Chevrolet in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as the brand has earned multiple victories and poles. Chevrolet SS drivers and teams have gone to Victory Lane at 19 races, including the prestigious Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400.

Last weekend at Phoenix International Raceway, Harvick started third and captured the checkered flag after leading a total of 264 of the event’s 312 laps. The win marked Harvick’s sixth-career victory at the track, which is the most among all active NSCS drivers. The win also secured Harvick one of four spots in the championship round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup in Sunday's race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine driver Brian Vickers expects his shortest and fastest commute to a NASCAR Sprint Cup race this weekend when the 2014 season culminates a few miles from Vickers’ South Beach condominium where he and wife Sarah live. The Michael Waltrip Racing driver plans a dip in the ocean before firing up his motorcycle to drive to Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend.

In their 64 seasons on the NASCAR circuit (now known as Sprint Cup) the Wood Brothers race team and Ford Motor Company have worked hand-in-hand to give Blue Oval fans plenty to cheer about on race days.

Edwards was eliminated from the final round of the Chase with a 15th place finish in Phoenix.

Headed into the final race of the season, Aric Almirola is excited to compete at his favorite track Homestead Miami Speedway. Earlier this year, Almirola stopped in Homestead and hung out at the Homestead Air Force Base to celebrate making his first Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Nothing would be better than to cap off his best NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season to date with a win in the No. 43 Smithfield Foods Ford.

Marcos Ambrose will make his final start in the No. 9 STANLEY Ford this weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway for Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM). Ambrose will depart the organization as one of its most successful drivers. Since joining RPM in 2011, he has put the No. 9 Sprint Cup team in Victory Lane twice while also earning three poles. In addition, Ambrose has 33 Top-10 and 11 Top-Five finishes.

As the championship race for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series inches closer, the excitement continues to escalate. Homestead-Miami Speedway President Matthew Becherer announced today that the grandstands are sold out for the Ford EcoBoost 400 on Sunday, November 16 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In addition, premium seating areas in Champions Club, Speedway Club and the Pit Box are sold out as well. The Championship Round Ford EcoBoost 400 will air live from Homestead-Miami Speedway at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Todd Gordon, crew chief for Joey Logano on the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion, is one of four crew chiefs with a chance to win this year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway this Sunday. Gordon was a guest on this week’s national teleconference to talk about that possibility at Ford Championship Weekend.

1. Kevin Harvick: Harvick led 264 of 312 laps at Phoenix and won the Quicken Loans Race For Heroes 500, qualifying for the Chase finale at Homestead. “Just call me ‘Mr. Unexcitement,” Harvick said, “because I took all the drama out of Sunday’s race.”
