Kevin Harvick is scheduled to make his 500th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start in Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 race at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS). In the midst of his 14th season in the series, Harvick has earned 26 wins, 111 top fives, 226 top-10 finishes and 14 pole awards.

Justin Allgaier returns to Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) for his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at the Ft. Worth, Texas speedway. After rain postponed the race for one day in the spring, Allgaier finished 24th. Allgaier and the No. 51 team tested for two days last week at TMS in preparation for Sunday's race.

If there’s one thing that Martin Truex Jr. wants to achieve in Sunday’s AAA Texas 500 Sprint Cup Series race it’s to see his mojo return after it took a two-week hiatus due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion are tied with teammate Joey Logano with a series-leading two victories in the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Chase for the Championship. Keselowski has claimed three victories in the last eight races and he is the winningest driver to date this season with a career-high six victories to his credit.

The Series heads to Texas Motor Speedway for Sunday’s 334-lap event at the fast 1.5-mile Fort Worth facility. Hamlin is a two-time Texas winner, sweeping a pair of races at the track in 2010. In 17 career races at Texas, Hamlin has posted eight top-10 finishes and has led 151 laps.

Michael Annett and the No. 7 CypressHQ Chevrolet SS race team head west this weekend to the 1.5-mile Texas Motor Speedway, located less than an hour from the Addison, Tex. offices of team sponsor Cypress Associates, for the 34th race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

At Talladega he finished third and last weekend at Martinsville he had another shot at a win when he started fourth during a green-white-checkered restart. Unfortunately, he got hung in the high line during the final laps but still managed to finish seventh. He carries that momentum into Texas where Bowyer has finished in the top 10 in six of the last eight races, including an eighth-place finish at the Ft. Worth track back in April.

Brian Vickers and the No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine team at Michael Waltrip Racing are getting a jump on the 2015 season testing the newly unveiled 2015 Toyota Camry this week at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.

Edwards has three wins at Texas in the Sprint Cup Series to include 2005 and a sweep in 2008.
