NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rookie Michael Annett will drive the No. 7 Pilot Flying J / Allstate Peterbilt Group Chevrolet SS this weekend at Michigan International Speedway for the 23rd race on the 2014 calendar.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, is still looking for his first win of the 2014 season, but Michigan International Speedway could be the perfect place for that to happen. Biffle has four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win at the facility, including last year when he captured Ford’s 1,000th victory during the June event. Biffle held a teleconference earlier today to discuss the race weekend and other topics.

1. Dale Earnhardt Jr.: Earnhardt finished 11th at Watkins Glen after an untimely late caution cost him any chance of winning. He passed Jeff Gordon to take over the lead in the Sprint Cup points standings, and now leads Gordon by four.
