David Ragan, driver of the No. 34 Taco Bell Ford, comments on racing 600 miles at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

“The 600 is a long race for man and machine for sure. The technology has come so far from what it used to be -- I notice that a lot more people finish it. I think it certainly tests your physical ability, but also your mental ability just to stay focused and to not only be physically capable of running the full race, but to mentally stay with it too. It’s a long race.”

Josh Wise got in the Sprint All-Star race, and at least managed to still be running at the end. His sponsor, Dogecoin, got all sorts of publicity, and Danica Patrick, Kyle Larson, and Austin Dillon got screwed.

Fans with tickets to the Coca-Cola 600 can enjoy an extra dose of family fun and fitness with the Coca-Cola Family Track Walk on Friday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m. The event will be headlined by up-and-coming country music star Chase Rice, currently touring with Dierks Bentley, who will perform hits like his current single “Ready Set Roll.”

When Trevor Bayne straps himself into the iconic Wood Brothers No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion, he will be trying to re-claim the glory that once was for the Woods at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Richard Childress Racing driver Ryan Newman finished 16th. Teammates Austin Dillon and Paul Menard did not participate in the event after finishing eighth and ninth, respectively, in Friday evening's Sprint Showdown.

Jamie McMurray muscled his No. 1 Bass Pro Chevrolet SS to the front when it counted the most, and captured his first career NASCAR Sprint All-Star race, which was also the first for team owner Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sebates. The prize was a cool $1 million.

Jamie McMurray restarted second and used the outside line during the final 10-lap segment to pass race leader Carl Edwards to win Saturday nights NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Clint Bowyer claimed the top spot in the 29th running of the Sprint Showdown, racing his way into contention for NASCAR’s largest purse.
