Richard Petty Motorsports Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series teams will adorn a decal for Autism Awareness for the month of April to support Gray, son of No. 43 Crew Chief Trent Owens. With April being Autism Awareness month and April 2 Global Autism Awareness Day, the team, led by NASCAR Hall of Famer Richard Petty, will join the campaign to raise awareness for autism.

“Last week in Martinsville was fun and we are looking forward to Texas Motor Speedway. The track has been great for us and winning the pole there last year was a blast. We are headed back there in our Fastenal Ford with winning as our only goal.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to Texas where everything is bigger the locals claim. One thing that is big for many Texans is hunting season. Clint Bowyer may gain some new fans, if he hasn’t already, with the paint scheme that adorns the No. 15 Toyota for the Duck Commander 500 at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend.

Greg Biffle is ready to return to victory lane. The last time he took home the checkered flag, it was in the No. 16 3M ESPE Dental Give Kids A Smile® Ford Fusion. And when he brings that car to Texas in April, he will have his sights set on taking home the trophy – and bringing smiles to a lot of fans around the country.

As a team we are looking to gain momentum, get back on track and get a good run at Texas. A win is important for us at this stage in the game, but so is a top-five finish and to run competitively. I feel really good where we are at; leading laps at Martinsville was great for us.

Today is April 1st, a day that for many is a fun and prank filled day with friends. For some it is a sign that spring is right around the corner. However, for some long time NASCAR fans it’s bittersweet, as we remember a Champion, a friend and someone who we lost too soon, Alan Kulwicki.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr.: After two straight races outside the top 20, Earnhardt finished third at Martinsville and reclaimed the lead in the Sprint Cup points standings. He leads Matt Kenseth by nine.

On Sunday, Kurt Busch was able to hold off the charge of Jimmie Johnson on the last lap to score the victory at Martinsville Speedway. It marks Busch's first win in 83 races, and his first win Stewart-Haas Racing after moving over during the off-season.

“I think our intermediate program has been pretty good and we’re ready for Texas Motor Speedway,” AJ Allmendinger said. “Hopefully, I’m up there battling in the BUSH’S Beans Chevy for a top-10 finish if not a win."
