Obviously, everybody wants to be the leader, but I feel good about it. I'm look ing forward to this weekend. We had a good run here in the spring -- it was my first race with the team, really besides plate racing. We had a really competitive car and we've been good at these kind of tracks. I'm looking forward to the weekend."

Singer-songwriter, actor, and music producer Toby Keith will serve as Grand Marshal for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, November 17. Homestead-Miami Speedway President Matthew Becherer made the announcement.

Texas Recap: Denny Hamlin finished seventh in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, recording a second-straight top-10 result for the #11 FedEx Racing Team heading into the final two events of the 2013 season. Hamlin charged from 12th after the final round of green flag pit stops in the 334-lap race, passing five cars in the final 40 laps to take the checkered flag behind winner Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano, Matt Kenseth, Kasey Kahne and Brad Keselowski.
