Kenseth led 202 laps at Martinsville and finished second, unable to keep eventual winner Jeff Gordon at bay over the closing laps. Kenseth’s runner-up finish forged a tie in the points standings with Jimmie Johnson.

Aric Almirola is fired up to return to Texas Motor Speedway, not necessarily because of the 1.5 mile track, but because he’s hoping to deliver a good finish for Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) in their 500th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, is eighth in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings with three races remaining. He joined the NASCAR teleconference on Tuesday afternoon to talk about his upcoming 400th series start and a variety of other issues going into this weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Brad Keselowski made his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) in November of 2008. After starting the race from the 37th position, the then 24-year-old Keselowski raced his way to a respectable 19th-place finishing position.

Stenhouse has six Nationwide career starts, earning one win and two top-five and four top-10 finishes.

In 74 starts at Texas Motor Speedway dating back to 1997, RCR has recorded one win (Jeff Burton, April 2007), eight top-five and 28 top-10 finishes with drivers Burton, Clint Bowyer, Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green and Paul Menard. Prior to TMS's inaugural season in 1997, Richard Childress, a former driver in NASCAR's top division, earned a pair of top-10 finishes at the now defunct Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas.

Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Fastenal Ford Fusion, has two wins this season (Phoenix 1 and Richmond 2) and sits 10th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings with three races remaining. He was one of two guests this week on the NASCAR teleconference and discussed a variety of topics.
