Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion, heads to this weekend’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at Martinsville Speedway 12th in the point standings, trailing leader Jimmie Johnson by 75 points. Logano was this week’s guest on the NASCAR teleconference.

In 18 starts at the 0.526-mile track, Edwards has one top-five and five top-10 finishes. His average start is 17.6, and his average finish is 16.1. Edwards has completed 98 percent (8851 of 9034) of laps in Cup competition attempted at Martinsville Speedway.

This weekend, Marcos Ambrose and the No. 9 DEWALT team return to the .526-mile Martinsville (Va.) Speedway where in April the team scored its first top-10 of the year.

Coming off a top-10 finish at the fast and wild Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway, David Ragan is ready to hit the brakes at the half-mile Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Ragan's No. 34 Taco Bell team tested for two days at the .526-mile oval earlier this month in a new Front Row Motorsports-built car. Their preps have them ready to go 500 laps in Sunday's Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500.

Racing his first full race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway in April, Josh Wise likened the half-mile oval to a classroom. The driver of the No. 35 MDS Transport Ford learned quite a bit from his first trip to the short track dubbed the "Paperclip." He is eager to apply those lessons learned in the Sprint Cup Series' return to the track for this weekend's Goody's Headache Relief Shot 500.

There's one thing that's always in the toolbox for Front Row Motorsports' No. 38 team: patience. David Gilliland and his Long John Silver's Ford crew often use it to their advantage on race weekends, employing a never-give-up attitude to get the best result possible.

Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today Greg Ebert will serve as the interim crew chief for the No. 43 Ford and driver Aric Almirola starting this weekend at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Ebert will fulfill this role on an interim basis for the remainder of the season.

Paul Wolfe, crew chief for Brad Keselowski and the No. 2 Miller Lite Fusion, helped guide the team to the top finish for Ford in the spring race at Martinsville Speedway. We waited with anticipation for the action, and Talladega once again delivered. Once again, we watched the cars (and trucks for those watching on Saturday) go flying around inches apart in aircraft formation, in wonder that they could pull this off lap after lap without it all going up in smoke and torn sheet metal.
