Quicken Loans Inc, the nation’s largest online retail mortgage lender and one of the nation’s three largest lenders overall, today announced it has again partnered with Michigan International Speedway (MIS) in Brooklyn, Michigan, to sponsor the Quicken Loans 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, June 16.

Buck Baker personified the term “old school.” Elzie Wylie “Buck” Baker, winner of 46 NASCAR Sprint Cup races and the series’ first back-to-back champion, personified the phrase “no quarter asked and none given.”

In addition there were often highly noticeable horsepower problems that hampered McMurray's presence on the speed charts. Adding to the frustration was an announcement that said Bass Pro Shops, the team's longtime primary sponsor of 18 races, was departing to join Stewart-Haas Racing.

The 2013 campaign opens up this month with its pre-season events, including the Shootout and the Duels at Daytona in less than three weeks' time. So, what is the big story coming into the new year?
