TONY STEWART, NO. 14 MOBIL 1/OFFICE DEPOT CHEVROLET, met with members of the media today at Talladega Superspeedway following an announcement that Bass Pro Shops would join Stewart-Haas Racing and the No. 14 Chevrolet as primary sponsor in 2013 for 18 races including the Daytona 500. Stewart discussed the addition of Bass Pro Shops, racing at Talladega and other topics.

KEVIN HARVICK NO. 29 BUDWEISER CHEVROLET, met with members of the media at Talladega Superspeedway and discussed his strategy for this weekend’s race at Talladega, painting the track pink for breast cancer and other topics.

DALE EARNHARDT JR., NO. 88 DIET MOUNTAIN DEW PAINT THE 88/NATIONAL GUARD CHEVROLET met with media and discussed his position in the Chase, his approach to Talladega, the importance of not losing more points, chances for the championship and more.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, is 11th in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings. He spoke to Ford Racing between practice sessions and talked about his plan for today and what it will take to get back into championship contention.

JEFF GORDON, NO. 24 DRIVE TO END HUNGER CHEVROLET, met with members of the media at Talladega Superspeedway and discussed strategy for this weekend’s race, his sponsor signing on through 2014, his visit in Texas with his children’s charity earlier this week and much more.

Ford’s all-time leading NSCS race winners at Talladega are Buddy Baker and Davey Allison with three each. Baker won three straight Talladega races in 1975-76 while Allison got his three victories in 1987, ‘89 and ’92.

Four NASCAR Hall of Fame members will join a trio of the sports modern stars in the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone on October 28. Hall-of-Fame drivers Ned Jarrett and Bobby Allison and Hall of Fame crew chiefs Dale Inman and Leonard Wood will make an appearance in the Martinsville Speedway Fan Zone presented by Diet Mountain Dew prior to the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on October 28.
