Regan Smith is looking to celebrate his birthday with a rebound weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, site of Sunday's Sylvania 300 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

The high-paced action at Michigan International Speedway, the fastest racetrack in NASCAR, will continue in 2013 with two weekends of racing, June 14-16 and Aug. 16-18.

For Glenn Lirette, his love of NASCAR® went into high gear on Sunday when he had a chance to see his racing heroes up close and personal at Chicagoland Speedway – thanks to the 3M Automotive Aftermarket “Your Ticket to the Track” Sweepstakes.

Camry driver Kyle Busch claimed a fourth-place result in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Chicagoland Speedway, and his Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) teammate Joey Logano crossed the finish line seventh. 'Chase for the Sprint Cup' contenders Martin Truex Jr. (ninth) and Clint Bowyer (10th) also earned top-10 finishes, while Denny Hamlin posted a 16th-place showing on the 1.5-mile track. In Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race in Chicago, both Busch (second) and pole-winner Logano (10th) claimed top-10 results in the 200th NNS event for the Toyota Camry.

This weekend, Roush Fenway takes its Chase hopes to New Hampshire Motor Speedway, where it will look for a strong follow-up to last week’s outing at Chicagoland.

Keselowski won the Geico 400, taking round 1 of the Chase For The Cup after holding off Jimmie Johnson at Chicagoland. Keselowski leads the point standings, three ahead of Johnson.

NASCAR announced on September 18th that they have reinstated NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver A.J. Allmendinger upon his completition of the road to recovery program.

It may seem silly, but there are those who have already decided that the Chase has two favorites, Brad Keselowski and Jimmie Johnson. There is something to be said for that, but the thought needs more investigation. It’s also useful to look at history and recent statistics. Those two categories tend to color things a bit.
