As the championship battle heats up at the newly reconfigured Kansas Speedway, actor-comedian Rob Riggle, has decided to join in on the action and has been named Grand Marshal for the Hollywood Casino 400, the sixth race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Riggle recently hosted the 20th annual ESPY Awards on ESPN, which is also airing the Hollywood Casino 400 live from Kansas Speedway on Oct. 21 at 1 PM CT.

Joey Logano qualified the No. 20 Dollar General Toyota in the 10th position for Sunday afternoon’s 267-lap GEI CO 400 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL.

Trevor Bayne’s Good Sam/Camping World Ford Fusion was strong all day in the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, and the Wood Brothers’ pit crew had one its best performances of the year, neither of which was reflected in the official results.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished 12th (Kevin Harvick), 15th (Paul Menard) and 24th (Jeff Burton). According the NASCAR Post-Race Loop Data Statistics, Harvick completed 100 Green Flag Passes during the 267-lap event, the most of any driver.

If it wasn’t game on before, it certainly is now for Jimmie Johnson and Brad Keselowski. Comments have been flying between the two for weeks but following the first race of the Chase on Sunday at Chicago, in which Keselowski struck first and won with Johnson coming home second, the two were at it again.

Hendrick Motorsports teammates Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne secured top-three finishes in the Geico 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway today, giving Team Chevy a positive start in the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup playoffs.

Brad Keselowski wins the opening race for the chase on Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway. Keselowski held off Jimmie Johnson during the final 35 laps and won his fourth race of the season, eighth of his career and the first at Chicagoland.
