Kevin Harvick led the way for Team Chevy at Michigan International Speedway qualifying second for Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup race, the Quicken Loans 400.

Marcos Ambrose captured the pole for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 at Michigan Int'l Speedway with a lap of 203.241 MPH (35.430 seconds).

Goodyear will make a tire change for Sunday’s Quicken Loans 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway. The decision was made Friday evening after teams had tires that were blistering following Friday’s practice sessions at the newly-repaved 2.0-mile track.

A day after numerous teams in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series topped the 200 MPH mark, the speeds continued to be the theme. And the speeds only got faster after the teams fine-tuned their cars.
