DOVER HOLDS PLENTY OF (GOOD & BAD) MEMORIES FOR LOGANO: Dover International Speedway, conveniently nicknamed the “Monster Mile” holds a bunch of memories for Joey Logano, both good and bad.

Jimmie Johnson: One week after winning the All-Star Race, Johnson saw a top-5 finish in the Coca Cola 600 slip away after he drug his gas man down pit road. The subsequent stop-and-go penalty left him with an 11th-place finish.

Kahne blew the doors off of his competitors Sunday night to score his fourth win at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the 53rd Annual Coca-Cola 600. This win is extra special for Kahne because it is his first win as a driver for Hendrick Motorsports, and his first win of the season.

Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe’s Madagascar Chevrolet, has six (6) victories at Dover International Speedway (’02 –TWICE, ’05, ’09-TWICE & ‘10)

Richard Childress Racing has earned four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series wins at Dover International Speedway, the latest coming in September 2006 when Jeff Burton drove the No. 31 Chevrolet to Victory Lane in the Dover 400.

After placing three cars inside the top 10 and leading over half the laps in Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600, Roush Fenway turns its attention to the Monster Mile of Dover International Speedway - one of the teams strongest tracks on the circuit.

Dodge is the most recent Sprint Cup winner at Dover. Kurt Busch scored a victory last October. He led 44 laps en route to victory.
