Pocono Raceway today added Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Kellogg’s Ford for Roush Fenway Racing, to their list of driver ticket packages being offered for the Pocono 400 race weekend occurring June 8th-10th.

This past weekend at Darlington Raceway, Rick Hendrick scored his 200th Sprint Cup Series victory as a car owner when Jimmie Johnson crossed the line in first place.

The No. 48 My Lowe’s Chevrolet captured the championship title for the eighth annual NASCAR Sprint Pit Crew ChallengeTM held at Time Warner Cable Arena. Mirroring the 2011 final round, the No. 48 pit crew defeated the back-to-back reigning champions, the No. 11 FedEx Toyota, with a time of 22.239 seconds.

Pocono Raceway has partnered with Barley Creek Brewing Co. to bring an infield Wiffle ball field to “The Tricky Triangle” during both NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekends this summer. Participation at ‘Barley Creek Field’ will be free for all infield patrons, and those 21 years of age or older will have the opportunity to purchase select craft beers from the Tannersville, PA-based brewery, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting United Way of Monroe County.

Roush Fenway Racing’s two-time DAYTONA 500 Champion, Matt Kenseth, is no stranger to success at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The driver of the No. 17 Ford has won every race in the portfolio at the 1.5-mile track, including an All-Star Race victory back in 2004.

Chevrolet today announced the return of a V-8 powered, rear-wheel-drive performance sedan to the U.S. lineup, the Chevrolet SS. The SS will also be Chevrolet’s next NASCAR Sprint Cup racecar and will debut in its race configuration at the 2013 Daytona 500.

Driver Greg Biffle salutes Red Cross blood donors during the May 19 NASCAR® Sprint® All-Star Race. The No. 16 Ford Fusion will sport a “Saluting Our All-Stars” patriotic paint scheme, highlighting 33 blood donors listed on the car, while honoring thousands across the country.

Tuesday afternoon NASCAR placed Phoenix Racing driver Kurt Busch $50,000 and placed on probation until July 25th for driving through Ryan Newman's pit stall recklessly and almost hitting crew members Saturday night at Darlington.
