In Saturday night's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Darlington Raceway, Denny Hamlin was the top-finishing Toyota driver with a second-place result on the historic 1.366-mile track known as the 'Lady in Black.' After starting in the eighth position, Hamlin ran with the race leaders throughout the 368-lap, 500-mile event.

After a solid outing last weekend in Darlington, RFR’s Sprint Cup program takes a break from point racing for the Sprint All-Star Challenge. RFR won the event last season and will look for its fifth all-star win this weekend.

The Sprint Showdown will be BK Racing's first taste of non-points racing. Landon Cassill, driver of the Burger King/Dr Pepper Toyota, has fought to keep his No. 83 team inside the top-35 of the owner point standings since the squad's formation in February.

Travis Kvapil, driver of the No. 93 Dr Pepper Toyota, will be one of 22 drivers vying to earn a spot in the Sprint All-Star Race atCharlotte Motor Speedway. Kvapil's plan for finishing in a transfer position of the Sprint Showdown is simple: start up front and stay up front.

Kenseth finished sixth at Darlington, posting his seventh top 10 of the year. He is second in the Sprint Cup point standings, and now trails leader Greg Biffle by two points.
