NASCAR Cup Series

Tony Stewart won the rain shortened Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday for his second win of the season, 46th of his Sprint Cup career and seven wins of the past 15 races.

Camry driver Kyle Busch (second) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Sunday's rain-shortened NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Auto Club Speedway of Southern California.

It’s difficult to say how fast we were going to be because we just didn’t dial the car in to where I knew how much speed we had in the car yet."

MARCOS AMBROSE – No. 9 DeWalt Ford Fusion – “It was just a quiet day. The track was coming to us a little bit, so we were hoping the race would get going again. This isn’t what we want for our DeWalt Ford, but we haven’t been good all weekend.”

The Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets Regimental Marching Band will perform the National Anthem prior to Sunday’s Goody’s Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway, keeping alive the track’s custom of traditional performances of the Anthem.

With the Auto Club 400 only already upon us, preparing for this once a year NASCAR style extravaganza in Fontana, California, has been in the planning stages since Kevin Harvick crossed the finish in last year’s upset over hometown favorite Jimmie Johnson.
